The entire Premier League might need to start getting ready for a trip to Elland Road next season.Leeds continued their path to the top-flight after registering a 2-0 win over Huddersfield on Saturday afternoon, with goals from Luke Ayling and Patrick Bamford enough to seal all three points. The result means the Whites are seven points clear of third-placed Fulham, and automatic promotion is firmly within their grasp. And following the triumph, Manchester City star Aymeric Laporte took to Twitter to send his message to Leeds.
Laporte of course played under current Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa whilst the pair were both at La Liga side Athletic Bilbao, with the centre-back playing 17 times under the Argentine.

Back in November 2018, the £67.5m-rated star spoke openly about how big of a role Bielsa had played in his development as a footballer. He said: “Without him, I might not be where I am today. It was Bielsa who gave me my first steps in the (Spanish) top flight, and so I owe him a lot. I’m very grateful to him and very aware of exactly what he did for me.”
And with Leeds closing in on a long-awaited return to the top-flight, Laporte is nearing a potential opportunity of facing off against his mentor next season.
Meanwhile, Leeds fans drool over this ace.
